Deborah began her ballroom dancing journey in 1999 when she was searching for a fun way to meet people and get some exercise. She quickly fell in love with the world of dance, dedicating her spare time and resources to taking lessons, dancing socially, and performing in pro-am (teacher-student) competitions. By 2003, her passion led her to start teaching, where she discovered a new joy in sharing her love of dance with others.
Deborah is skilled in various dance styles, but she has a special fondness for West Coast Swing and Nightclub Two-Step due to their versatility. She also adores the elegance of waltz, tango, and foxtrot, enjoying how they glide across the ballroom. For her, the magic of dancing lies in the connection and moving in sync with a partner. Whether leading or following, Deborah embraces the unique experience that lead-and-follow dancing offers, and she's excited to bring this magic to her students.
